About this breed This unique dog, the Biewer Terrier a la Pom Pon originates from Germany and is now being raised in North America. It is a breed that follows specific German standards. The puppies are born in Canada, inspected by a qualified veterinarian who verifies that the puppy meets the guidelines of the Biewer Terrier a la Pom Pon association. The veterinarian signs and stamps the appropriate paperwork, which is sent to the Internationalen Biewer Terrier Club e. V. Of Germany. (View the German standards) The correspondence comes directly from Germany and each puppy has its own German Certificate & Pedigree. The Biewer cannot be registered in the USA or Canada at this time as the breed is relatively new to this part of the world. Some people are starting to introduce the breed in the show circuit as a specialty breed and over time, registration may be allowed in America.
